Established in 1996 in Johannesburg - South Africa, G2 furniture manufactures and finishes bespoke antique reproduction. G2 is a unique furniture store. We create antique reproductions for upmarket clientele including lodges, boutique hotels as well as furniture stores and private residences. G2 furniture and antique furniture finishes can be found in all over Africa and surrounding islands and as far a field as France, England, Italy, United States and the Middle East. G2 is a truly international South African furniture store.

The Maker

Each piece of furniture is hand made which is why our antique reproduction collection is of the highest quality. Greg Grant is the creator behind every design, be it dining room tables, coffee tables, dining chairs, benches or custom bedroom sets such as antique cabinets and cupboards. G2 Furniture creates it’s own designs but can also rework or manufacture according to a clients specification. The pieces are individually distressed and finished by hand by our local craftsmen to guarantee an unequalled antique finish and an authentic appearance.

Production Base

G2 Furniture showrooms are located near the Market Theatre – Newtown, also known as the cultural hub of the recent inner-city urban development zone in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our 800m2 showroom is situated in a remodelled 1913 Johannesburg factory. Visiting us is safe with off-street parking just in front of our door.
